Wakeboarding and waterskiing are very popular in Hong Kong and the best place to do this on the island is Tai Tam. There are several waterskiing instructors operating in Tai Tam and for around HK$700 per boat per hour they will provide wakeboard or skis, speedboat and some interesting choices of background music.
If sailing is more your watersport of choice, it is worth checking out The Hong Kong Yacht Club, which offers excellent sailing courses for adults and rents sailing boats out to its members as well as organising crews for racing.
